Many of our clients are older adults, some living with low vision, tremor, dementia or hearing loss. An accessible website is not a feature for us it is the whole point.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and we test with real families as part of every release.
What we've built in
- Large text, generous spacing and high-contrast colours throughout.
- Big tap targets, every button and link is easy to press, even with tremor.
- Full keyboard navigation and visible focus outlines.
- Screen-reader friendly: semantic headings, labels on every form field, alt text on images.
- Plain, calm language, no jargon, no pressure, no dark patterns.
- No time limits on forms; you can stop and come back.
- We respect "reduce motion" settings, nothing moves that doesn't need to.

The phone is a first-class way to use Groomers Nest. Call us and a person will book, change or cancel anything for you, 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
