Last updated: September 2026. Your trust is the whole business, here is exactly how we treat your data.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address and phone number.
- Booking details: service address, area, care notes and appointment time.
- Professional applications: experience details and uploaded documents (ID, certificates, CV, background check).
- Payment references only, card numbers are handled entirely by Flutterwave and never touch our servers.
How we use it
To schedule and deliver visits, send confirmations and reminders, review professional applications, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your data, ever.
Who we share it with
Only the assigned professional (name, address and care notes for the visit), our payment processor (Flutterwave) for transactions, and authorities where the law requires it.
Where it lives
Data is stored on secured, access-controlled infrastructure (Supabase) and travels only over encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL).
Your rights
You may request a copy, correction or deletion of your data at any time. Email us and we will act within 7 days.
Deleting your account
In the Groomers Nest app, open the You tab and tap Delete my account. Your login and profile are removed straight away.
No app? Email groomersnest@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account", and we will delete it within 7 days.
We keep records of past bookings and payments, as our accounts require. Upcoming visits are not cancelled automatically, so cancel them first or call us.
